Sprint input checklist

Technical SEO Audit + Top Fixes input checklist

A short input checklist for one specific technical SEO, GSC, crawl, indexation, or top-fix sprint.

This is not a free audit promise. It is a way to send the minimum useful context before a bounded first sprint: what broke, where it shows up, what changed, and what evidence already exists.

Best use

Use this when the problem is specific enough to test: crawled but not indexed, sitemap noise, canonical conflicts, noindex/robots mistakes, redirect cleanup, or a short list of safe implementation fixes.

If the context is sharp enough, the next step can be a fixed sprint instead of a broad audit.

Send before the sprint

  • Site URL and affected URLs, paths, templates, or page types.
  • Exact GSC coverage state, crawl symptom, or visible failure.
  • Sitemap URL and whether the affected URLs are listed there.
  • CMS, stack, plugins, CDN, and any recent launch or release date.
  • Access level and available evidence: screenshots, exports, crawl samples, logs, or PageSpeed captures.

First sprint shape

  • Confirm crawl, canonical, robots, sitemap, and internal-link state.
  • Group issues by template, URL pattern, or rollout change.
  • Implement three to five safe fixes where access allows.
  • Hand off what changed, how it was verified, remaining risk, and the next useful milestone.

Not a broad audit

The checklist exists to define the first failure path.

It should help separate what is broken, what is only noise, which URLs matter, and what can be safely implemented in the first pass.
