Agency/reseller client project
WordPress SEO fixes delivered through an agency
I made the agreed WordPress SEO changes and checked the live pages while the reseller managed the end-client relationship. The work covered Search Console, the sitemap, homepage metadata, and priority service pages.
The project
-
What the client needed
The agreed WordPress changes should be live, checked, and documented for the reseller to hand over.
-
The problem
- Search Console setup and sitemap visibility needed attention.
- The homepage canonical, title, description, and H1 needed correction.
- Priority service pages needed metadata changes within the existing WordPress setup.
-
My role
- Implemented the agreed WordPress changes behind the reseller.
- Kept the end-client relationship with the reseller.
- Documented completed work, exceptions, and live checks.
-
What I changed
- Established the Search Console property and confirmed sitemap visibility.
- Corrected the agreed homepage canonical, title, description, and H1.
- Updated the agreed priority service-page metadata within the existing theme and plugin setup.
-
How I checked it
- Checked homepage and service-page output against the agreed task list.
- Recorded the Search Console property and processed-sitemap checks.
- The Upwork job closed with a public 5.0 client review covering satisfaction with the work, revisions, and documentation.
